LEARNING MODELs

TPACK

Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a framework that brings together technology, pedagogy, and content area skills to create a "sweet spot" where all three overlap.

TPACK is based off of Lee Shulman's Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK)that he created in 1986.  Koehler and Mishra extends

Shulman’s idea by adding the technology component and "emphasizing the kinds of knowledge that lie at the intersections between three primary forms" (Koehler, 2006).

The learning center is a physical manifestation

of this overlapping of areas.
